Cleaning my studio table after making the book for the Bella Fratellini assemblage, I had a small pile of scraps.
it's tempting to toss the scraps in a box but I know that I will forget about them and the scrap box starts to overflow making it hard to find and use anything
So I made some tags for the chocolate wrapper pocket. The tags were from also scrap, leftover from alterations that were taken to the cleaners. I sewed leftover scraps of spray paint paper on the side that had the seamstress notes and the blank side is perfect for some journaling.
a signature that didn't find it's way into the book assemblage, found a place on this set of pages
I like to work ahead in my visual journal making backgrounds and prepping the pages.
a little page nested on top a journal page
Tiny little scraps of spray paint paper were sewn onto an old ledger page, a photo was added and then glued on the journal page.
I have been going through boxes of personal stuff, I found a big stack of old 70's Polaroids - eventually it all finds it's way to the journal pages.
