I've never cooked with figs but I'm definitely going to give this recipe a try next month when I get together with my art peeps. Were the figs ripe? Or does it not matter? Thanks for sharing this :)

I don't know if I like figs. Poor Mrs. Rizzo (RIP) had a fig tree in her back yard. She would present my family with plates of figs when the tree was producing...but my brother threw them at the neighborhood kids. I never ate one, probably because they were supposed to be good for us. I hope my brother is laughing with Mrs. Rizzo now..we tortured that poor woman.

I have never heard of fig pizza, but anything with figs has to be good. Figs have to be one of the best things about Summer.

I think I'd like to eat at your house. Haven't had fresh figs in ages! Strange - I love fresh figs and even dried figs, but I never liked Fig Newtons.
