White creamy vintage bright cheery rooms appeal to me and I have done that look so many times in the many houses that I have lived in.
As much as I love whites and creams, the gypsy in me longs for deep rich vivid colors.
The creams and whites will be used in the bedrooms but I think this beach cottage may just have a living room with eggplant walls, crisp white trim and accented with peacock blue, orange, and acid green.
But I may end up playing safe with my favorite pale gray.

I love to put some bright color on my walls but too afraid. Love you journal layout with your wish list of ideas.

I must have a little gypsy in me too. The more color and pattern the better for me.

Cream and pale grey... you sound like me! Longing for bright colours but wanting peace in my surroundings I go with a calm room an throw as much colour in my art journals as possible... can you tell I'm a Libra? Ha!

I wonder about the "paint one wall" trick. To see if you like that much color? My daughter's bedroom had two chartreuse walls and two white walls, for many years.
