the results of my beginning attempt with vegetable dying
this piece of fabric had a light tone print and was overdyed
I am not sure what I am going to do with the dyed fabric but it might be fun to work with some of the shapes that appeared during the dying process.
lace and vintage rayon seam binding was thrown into the dye pot
some of the seam binding was put through my Xyron and made into fabric tape for journaling

This looks very interesting! But what vegetable? How long does it sit in the dye? So many questions!

Very nice. My favorite ink is sepia. This looks kind of sepia to me!

I'm liking this. Very antique looking. I'm anxious to see what you do with it.

I love the color and the patterning. How fun to have made it into fabric tape! I never thought of doing that.
