Do you ever get that creepy feeling on the back of your neck like you are being watched?
There is a little lizard (Carolina anole) that lives in an old lamp post outside my house.
He likes to watch me when I am out side working.
I think he feels very safe in his fortress.
Next week I will be planting the area behind the lamp post, it will be roses and perenniels.
This activity should give Mr. Anole plenty to observe.

That little lizard is so cool! When I lived on the coast in central California, there was this great big lizard that used to sneak into our house on occasion. We would find him under the couch or behind the piano - it was always startling - but he was harmless and just looking for a warm spot! He must have been about a foot long - one of those little brown gray lizards that just kept growing, probably really old.

He needs an eye patch.
Seriously...does he leave and go back to the post very day? I've never seen anything like it!
