My favorite pattern of all times is "The Blouse Perfected". I have lost count how many times I used it.
The latest version of this blouse, I used a Scottish wool plaid to be worn as a a light jacket.
At the same time when ordering the wool plaid, I also bought a piece of silk to make into a scarf to wear with the plaid.
I love plaid but sometimes, it can look a bit "Tool Time Al".
The wool plaid and floral silk below are from Emma One Sock.
EOS is one of my favorite online sources for fabric.
The jacket and silk scarf are great together with an ivory blouse but it still needed something
And that something is this gorgeous hand knit fair isle vest that I received from Gayle. This vest is a beauty and with my love of fair isle, it has found the perfect home. It is made of yarn from Scotland, can you ever have too much Scotish wool.
The jacket above is a nice casual version, Or below, with a favorite Harris Tweed.
Thank you Gayle.
You're MOST welcome, Patty. I love seeing it combined with these other textiles. Wear it in perfect health!
