This journal page started as just a couple of squiggles trying to get the ink in a stuck pen flowing.
Inspired by a photo of a detail of a butteryfly wing, the one little scratching of a pen became more.
a little sweet spot
fueling my craving for color and pattern.

These are wonderful "happy accidents" ... some of my favorite little creations begin in the same way. I love the colors and the movement I could see when you zoomed in. Lovely!

This is such a cool spread. I'm really glad you included the closeup cause the minute I saw it I knew it was a WHOLE bunch of tiny lines and wanted to see how you'd done it. I don't believe I have the patience for such a thing, which is why I love to see work like this when someone else has done it. This would look amazing on a canvas.
