This boho bag was supposed to be my Labor Day weekend project
but it is finished and now I have three days to plan and make something else.
This bag project was like a good book that you say, "only one more chapter" and the next thing you know it's morning and you've read the entire book, that's the way it was with this bag.
The outside of the bag is made from salvaged fabric from thrift store clothes.
I added some thread painting and decorative stitching for more interest. It's one of those things you can only see in person and the photos can't really capture it.
The lining is bright in a shocking green in a poly sari fabric.
The sari fabric is a nightmare to work with. The fibers literally explode when it's cut but I love the color, it was worth the extra effort it took.
There is a zippered pocket on one side and a multi divided pocket on the other.
I didn't use as many fabrics as I thought I would but I am happy with the results.
