how nice to find someone who also loves the old-fashioned composition books....i just finished decorating one for my 6-year-old granddaughter; she was thrilled to get it too, covered with special papers and flowers, etc...just for her to "write" in every single day! bought a whole slew of them after a "back to school" sale at target for 25 cents each! love your ideas and art!

& that appears to be a licorice-flavored Texas-sized jelly bean, too, a very good thing. Love hearing about your multiple journals; my family teases me with, 'any excuse for a journal' refrains sung in falsettos generally right up in my face. The flower/laurel vignette? gorgeous!
