On today's walk with Ralph the Dog, we spotted this tiny charming church. I don't know anything about it but how cute is it!
Every turn there is a wide range of architecture, from charming cottages tucked behind gardens that they are nearly hidden,
and then there are homes that are right out there with dramatic black eyeliner and red eye shadow.
I love trompe l'oeil when it is done well and this sign is gorgeous.
And here is a close up detail. The hand painted roses are so beautiful and the details make the painting just pop.
Somehow I thought a post with a bit of trompe l'oeil and April Fools Day kind of goes hand in hand. If you think really hard about it.
