A while back, I spray painted pages from an old wire bound desk calendar book. I pick this book up every so often and work on a page or two. When I first sprayed the pages, I didn't know what to do with the original Redoute flower prints. They were too pretty to cover up but they seemed jarring next to the sprayed pages.
Now that I have worked a few pages, I like the contrast and will leave the Redoute pages as they are. Although, some journaling on them would be kind of fun.
Below is how the spray painted background looked before I started working the page. I didn't care for it much but kept working on it until I had something that I liked.
Splendid pages! You always inspire me.

The contrast between the pages is indeed great! I would do the same as you - leave it this way and maybe journal around the flower...
