Today’s offering to the tiny hands shrine.
Thanks for all the emails asking about my plans if Isaac takes it's path
towards me.
It's a fact of life to have hurricane plans in place when living along the
tropical storm super highway. Actually multiple plans and scenarios are in
place.
The choice is always hard regarding what gets left behind, what goes and the
mode of transporting family, pets and irreplaceable items.
Sunday, I will know more. As it stands now, if you purchase
something from my Etsy shop, my last mailing day will be Friday. All orders
after Friday will be held until Wednesday of next week to ensure safe delivery.
I don't know what type of natural disaster is preferable... the
one that comes on suddenly and takes you by surprise or the one you watch for
days. It's kind of like pulling the Band-Aid off slowly or fast.
What would you take if you were limited to only what could be
stowed in the trunk of a car?
I would take my computer, camera printers, art supplies, husband and cat. And maybe afew tax related papers for the IRS.
