now, where was I

The past couple of weeks there has been little inspiration with mindless bouncing from project to project.

Lately, I have been feeling an itch to get back into doing some assemblage art.

Last week, I was discussing this desire to do more assemblage during a meeting at a resturant. Do you ever get that feeling when you are talking about something that really excites you and the person you are talking to gets that vacant look in their eyes and then you wonder if you have been speaking in a foreign language that nobody but you understands....

Well, the universe sent me a message while out on my morning bike ride.

Morbidly fascinated, I stopped, studied, took several photos, scooped it all up into my bicycle basket and cheerfully headed home.

It's time to start.
