A journal page from the "secrets" journal that is just about ordinary daily stuff. I love Paisley and I love Jolly Roger Did you hear my squeal when I was at my local market this morning and spotted these market totes? That's all I am going to blog about today. When a market tote is this perfect, there is nothing left to say.
That's the beauty of a journal, it can be anything you want at any time. It's yours and there are no rules. Another simple beauty, old tarnished silver plate and vintage linens with white washed wood. I have added a few more favorites in my etsy shop.
page from the "secrets" journal with a lift up flap made from a paint chip sample "Winter in Paris" is the color I choose for the kitchen, it is a light smokey blue with a gray cast that looks nice with the cherry cabinets and stainless steel
a collection of the little day to day stuff a collection of pictures, clipping and doodles a pocket to keep letters, notes and newspaper clippings and blank spaces to write stuff
Why not try this simple project. I love this old frame but have never been able to commit to something permanent in it. I use it for displaying an ever changing array of papers. Right now it's a piece of spray paint paper made last fall. Take a frame and remove it's glass so that it just an empty frame. Attach wire to the back with some eye hooks. Put a nail on the wall where you want the frame to hang. Put a bulldog clip on paper and hang on the nail If you have a deep frame or a small bulldog clip it might be easier to just nail the bulldog clip on the back top of the frame. hang frame on the wall making sure that the wire is on the nail and not on the loop of the bulldog clip.
This would work good with kid's school papers and artwork, anything that changes out regularly. I like how a fancy frame makes the paper extra special.
